STAND ON THE WORD WITH FRC
A TWO-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN

TODAY'S READING: 2 Kings 7-8

TODAY'S QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION AND DISCUSSION

1) What caused four desperate Jewish lepers to go to the camp of the Syrian army during the famine in Samaria (7:3-4)? What did they discover, and what caused the Syrian army to abandon camp (see 7:5-7)?

2) According to 2 Kings 8:4, Elisha's servant, was telling the king of Israel about the great things Elisha had done. Just as the servant was speaking of the Shunammite widow whose son Elisha restored to life, who should appear? Explain the significance of the miraculous timing (see 8:5-6).
