STAND ON THE WORD WITH FRC
A TWO-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN

TODAY'S READING: Song of Solomon 5-8

TODAY'S QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION AND DISCUSSION

1) Watchmen on the walls had authority, but in Song 5:7, they abused the King's bride to be. As believers throughout history, she was persecuted as she sought her Beloved. The Watchmen found her and:

  1. Beat her
  2. Bruised her
  3. Took away her veil
  4. All of the above

2) When Solomon wrote Song of Songs 6:8-9 (NKJV) he had "60 queens, 80 concubines, and virgins without number" (which grew to 700, 300, and still innumerable). Yet in v. 9, he calls his betrothed a "dove," "the perfect one," "the only one." Of whom was he speaking prophetically throughout this amazing God-breathed love story? (See 2 Cor 11:2-3, Eph 5:27)
