STAND ON THE WORD WITH FRC
A TWO-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN

TODAY'S READING: Isaiah 19-20

TODAY'S QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION AND DISCUSSION

1) In God's judgment upon Egypt, whose leaders led her people astray by consulting idols, sorcerers, mediums, and the necromancers, what amazing promises did he proclaim over Egypt looking forward (19:19-21)?

  1. God would send them a Savior
  2. God would make Himself known to them
  3. God would respond to their pleas for Him to heal them
  4. They would acknowledge the Lord
  5. All of the above

2) What message was God sending to Egypt when he instructed Isaiah to go about naked and barefoot for three years as a sign (see 20:1-4)? What effect did this have on those who put their trust in Egypt (v. 5-6)?
